Mary of the Stringed Instruments

Employing colours loosely based off traditional and iconographic religious artworks, I toyed with the 'Mary of....' idea, taking into consideration the many varieties that exist; whether as a means to communicate an religious or social ideal, or to build ties with community or place. In this instance, I find myself thinking about musicians, and other creative people, and how they form communities to which they feel connected to.
