Summer : Memories of Treasures from the Sea

To be honest, I struggled with this inclusion for the series I'm continuously putting together re: personifications of seasons. But alas, I find myself happy with the result, as something that is reminiscent in my mind of some of Man Ray's photography work. It has that early experimental vibe to it - strong contrasts, but little details and a sense of form in the mix. Also producing this was a great excuse to collect shells, and how fun is that?! Happy times on the beach, exploring, and feeling the warm sun on one's skin.
